Clogged gutters cause water to back up under shingles, rot fascia boards, and erode the foundation over time. We clear every section by hand, flush the downspouts, and tell you about any damage we find. Most homes take about an hour. You do not need to be home.
Gutters fail at the seams, at hangers, and where they connect to downspouts. A leaking seam drips directly onto your foundation wall. A sagging section pools water and pulls away from the fascia. We repair what is worth repairing and replace what is not — and we will tell you the difference before doing any work.
Gutter guards do not eliminate cleaning entirely, but they reduce it to once every two or three years instead of twice a year. We install micro-mesh guards that block pine needles and shingle grit, which cheaper foam inserts cannot. If your gutters are in good shape and you are tired of constant cleanings, guards are worth the investment.
You can have perfectly clean gutters and still have standing water because a single elbow at the base of the downspout is packed with debris. We flush every downspout on the property, locate the blockage, and clear it — including checking underground drain connections at the exit point.
